About the Ballard Alliance

The Ballard Alliance is a neighborhood and business improvement organization that is funded through assessments on commercial and residential properties in the Ballard core as well as fundraising events and voluntary memberships. Working to improve and enhance the neighborhood, the Alliance implements critical programs that focus on the public realm, advocacy, business support, and community events. In addition, the Alliance manages a robust marketing tourism program through its brand Visit Ballard.

Moreover, the Alliance maintains a strong leadership voice for Ballard as we advocate on issues that matter most to the community. The organization has developed a proven track record for success and played a critical role in assisting the community through unprecedented and unique challenges over the last several years.

Where We Work

Membership in the Ballard Alliance provides an opportunity to promote your Ballard business or organization, keep informed about important events and issues, participate in B2B networking events and engage on broader community issues and initiatives. Business located within the Business Improvement Area (BIA) are automatically Ballard Alliance members. Businesses located in the greater Ballard neighborhood are eligible for affiliate memberships.
