Why Join the Alliance?

Your membership with the Ballard Alliance provides an opportunity join an organization that has been championing local businesses since 1927.

Benefits Rates Structure

Review our Member Benefits Rate Structure below to figure out which membership category applies to you.

If your business is within the Ballard Improvement Area, you are automatically an Alliance member.
If your business location is outside the BIA boundary but within Ballard, you are eligible for a Classic membership.
If your business location is outside the Ballard Neighborhood (98107 & parts of 98117) boundary but within King County, you are eligible for a Friends of Ballard membership.

BIA Business (Within BIA Boundary)

  • Available at no cost to businesses located within the BIA (Ballard Improvement Area) boundaries
  • Includes all Classic Member benefits, plus:

Classic Membership (Outside BIA Boundary)
$295

Ballard Alliance Annual Membership is available to business owners outside of the Ballard Improvement Area, but within the Ballard neighborhood boundary (see map). Membership benefits include: 

  • Newsletter Subscription + Acknowledgement
  • New Member Welcome in Newsletter
  • Web Events Calendar Submission
  • Event listing in the Ballard Bulletin “Upcoming Events” list
  • Invitation to Alliance Informational and Networking Events
  • Up to three Facebook & Instagram Stories on Visit Ballard social media (per year)
  • Online Visit Ballard Guide business listing (photos and map placement is reserved for in-boundary BIA businesses only)

The Alliance will invoice members annually, in the amount of $295, via email with a link to pay online. 

 

CLASSIC MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

Friends of Ballard (Outside Ballard but within King County)
$200

Support the neighborhood as a Friend of Ballard. 🫶 This membership is available to businesses that are located outside of the Ballard neighborhood boundary (see Classic Membership map) but within King County.
Membership benefits include: 

  • Newsletter Subscription + Acknowledgement
  • New Member Welcome in Newsletter
  • Invitation to Alliance Informational and Networking Events
